The topic in this weeks newsletter was on photography. A topic in which I always find fascinating. It talked about how important your macro setting is and the ability to have the perfect lighting/setting for your pictures. People want to get up close and personal to the item since they can not physically touch it. The one major thing I took from the article was how having a light box can drastically improve the look of a product. So in order to drastically improve my look I set out to Walmart to purchase what I needed to make my own. I am chuckling at this very moment just thinking about it. I can build things with wood, but a little cardboard scares me, lol. Wish me luck!

New Model

It is so helpful to have willing neighbors and friends! My Friend E let me take some pics of her gorgeous little girl today. S was such a willing participant. She hammed it up for a good 2 hours and I was able to get some great shots! Here she is in an Olivia flower that matched her little tutu perfectly! Isn't she a doll!

Color Blockage

This last week I have seriously had some major blockage in the brain. I wanted to get out some new products, but every time I sat down I just can't decide on what colors to use. I find myself staring at people clothes (especially little girls) for color schemes. I am constantly asking the hubby what he thinks and he is seriously sick of it, but that's what happens when you do what I do.

Come Friday I finally had a breakthrough (thanks to a friends' suggestions) and this is what I came up with:

Emma Flower Clips

I listed some Emma Clips in Scarlet Red this morning. If you can't tell I just love this color. I pretty much use it in everything I possibly can. J was so excited to have her picture taken once again and loved every moment of saying "Cheese". In fact it was one continuous "cheese" for about 5 minutes, lol. I tried to use some of my skills learned in my photo class, but not before taking out the manual to read up a bit!
